A little bit about the Gate House Players
We are a Community Theatre group, under the umbrella of the non profit organization Gate
House Community Association.
All of our on and off stage positions are volunteer, and filled by North Island community
members. We simply could not and would not exist without community support and involvement.
We strive to produce quality productions, to the best of our ability. We have done original works,
classics, musicals, radio plays, large cast, small cast, one act, two act, etc. We are open to
trying new things, and utilizing the talents of the North Island.
The areas we need filled the most at pretty much every single production are: set design,
costumes, props, tech, adult actors, and directors.
That being said, we will never say no to script writers, assistant directors, and anything else you
feel you may be able to bring to our North Island theatre.
If you have any questions about our productions, or are interested in filling any of our on or off
stage roles at any time, please email us at info@gatehousetheatre.ca
We always have a play for Orcafest (third weekend in August), and plan on doing a few more
plays during the year.
We announce casting calls via posters on our building, advertising on our social media and
website, word of mouth, as well as posting on our Gate House Players private Facebook page,
and our Gate House Theatre monthly newsletter we email out to our subscribers.
